Partner Michael Zeytoonian to Co-Present Workshop on “Dispute Resolution by Design” at Association for Conflict Resolution 10th Annual Conference

Michael Zeytoonian, a partner at Hutchings, Barsamian, Mandelcorn & Zeytoonian, LLP specializing in Alternative Dispute Resolution-- including mediation, Collaborative Law, case evaluation, and ombuds services for family and business clients—will co-present a workshop on “Dispute Resolution by Design “ with workshop organizer Marshall P. Yoder, a collaborative law attorney with Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver, PLC of Harrisonburg, Virginia, at the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) 10th Annual Conference in Chicago at 4:00 PM on Friday, September 3, 2010.

The workshop focuses on designing a dispute resolution process tailored to the specific situation and specific parties in dispute. In addition to meeting with the parties separately to review the models available, the approach considers a menu of specific options available and allows the parties to choose a la carte from the components found in mediation, collaborative practice and other dispute resolution procedures. The approach recognizes the primacy of the clients in choosing the appropriate dispute resolution elements.
